CEO

As the CEO of Tourism Whitsundays, Tim has a passion for the tourism industry. In his career of over 18 years in Destination Marketing Organisations, he has worked in Visitor Servicing, Membership, Marketing, Industry Development, International and Management. As CEO of Tourism Whitsundays, he leads a dynamic Destination Management Organisation, advocating for over 300 industry members, the Whitsunday Regional Council, and Tourism and Events Queensland. He collaborates closely with the Board of Directors to implement strategic directions for marketing, visitor services, and industry development. Tim’s strong focus on digital and internal processes will ensure that Tourism Whitsundays continues to work alongside all our magnificent members and stakeholders to lift the outcomes that can be achieved and ensure that collaboration is at the forefront of how we operate.

VISITOR SERVICES MANAGER

As Visitor Services Manager, Dea is all about the region’s accredited Whitsundays Visitor Information Centre (WVIC). Her focus is to connect travellers to our region with our local operators and assist in getting the most out of a Whitsunday holiday.

Dea is also the go-to person for anything related to Membership and the Whitsunday Volunteer Ambassador Group.

OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE

Crystal plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations and supporting the growth of Tourism Whitsundays’ members. With extensive experience in executive and project support, she has worked across infrastructure development, contracts, financial management, and policy implementation within the NSW State Government. Her background also includes real estate sales and holiday management, giving her a strong foundation in customer service and stakeholder engagement.
